Dear School Four Families,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you and your child to Lindenwold School Four for the 2025-2026 School Year! I hope this letter finds you well after safely enjoying the summer months with family, while reading, staying active and having fun! On behalf of the Lindenwold School Four Staff, I would like to give a very special welcome to all of our students and families. As you know this is the first year that School Four is a grade level school, meaning that we house all of our second and third grade students. We are pleased to have you join our school family. We are pleased to confirm that our school will be open to receive our students in the school/classroom setting on Monday, September 8th at 8:35am- our first day of school! At School Four, it is our goal to continue to stretch our students in all subject areas with the instruction and support of our dedicated staff. We will continue to foster a family of learners within our school community. We know that all students excel at high levels when there is a partnership and relationship between students, parents and staff. We seek to have your support and collaboration to ensure the success of all students.

I would like to make note of a few new faces this year at Lindenwold School Four. We are pleased to have the following additions to our team.

Aureni Espinal-Green - ESL Third Grade

Jocelyne Guzman - Bilingual Third Grade Teacher

Michelle Strong - Third Teacher

Olivia Pierman - Resource Teacher

Our first day of school is Monday, September 8, 2025, and it is a full day of school (8:35am through 3:10pm) for all of our students. Our students will be provided with the basic school supplies and materials by their classroom teachers. These supplies will be distributed to students during the first week of school.

I would like to remind you that our Lindenwold School Four website is a great resource for parents/guardians and students, as we become more paperless. We will be posting school notices on our website for your viewing access, such as our Student Handbook and Code of Conduct, and other valuable information. Some of the information below is also provided in our Student Handbook and Code of Conduct, but it serves as a reference for you. Also, please note that throughout the school year, your child will receive important information via Teacher’s Google Classroom accounts and other teacher applications, such as Remind, Class Dojo, ClassTag, etc. Please be diligent in checking your child’s account on a daily basis.

Student School Day

Lindenwold School Four Hours for Grades 2-3 are as follows:

Regular Day: 8:35am – 3:10pm

Early Dismissal: 8:35am – 1:10pm

Regular and punctual attendance is an essential part of your child’s schooling. Students are expected to be present daily by 8:35am, and remain in school for the duration of the school day until 3:10pm.

Lunch/Recess

Students will be participating in lunch and recess activities daily. In an effort to reduce the number of students in the cafeteria at one time, only half of the students at a grade level are assigned to eat in the cafeteria at any given time. This means that half of the grade would be outside at recess while half of the grade would be inside for lunch. Note that students will be outside participating in outdoor recess unless the weather is inclement or “the feel like temperature” is below 40 degrees or above 90 degrees.

Arrival/Dismissal

Note that students will be entering directly into the building upon arrival. All students will enter through their grade level designated exterior doors, as outlined on the Aerial School Map linked here and mailed to you in our welcome packet. You will also find this map on the School Four website. Bus students will be directed to their grade level entrances by school personnel. Note that if you are dropping off your child, you must use the Car Lane (Blue Curb) and remain inside the vehicle while your child exits the vehicle. This is a quick drop off and cars will be expected to move on quickly. You MAY NOT park along the blue curb under any circumstance.

All walkers will be dismissed from the school blacktop/yard. If you are meeting your child at dismissal, park in our visitors’ parking area and proceed to the school yard. You should also note that we are adhering to our dismissal time (3:10pm), and parents may not pick up students before dismissal time as it interrupts instruction for your student, their class and their teacher. If you are taking your child to an appointment, be sure to provide the teacher/main office with this information on the morning of the appointment. We will not be interrupting classes during instruction.

Estimadas familias de la Escuela Cuatro,

Me da gran placer darles la bienvenida a ustedes y sus niños a la Escuela Cuatro de Lindenwold, para el año escolar 2025-20256! Espero que se encuentren bien y que hayan disfrutado los meses de verano con sus familias y amistades, mientras los estudiantes leen, se mantienen activos y se divierten! De parte del personal de la Escuela Cuatro, queremos darles la bienvenida a todos nuestros estudiantes y sus familias. Como ya saben, este año escolar nuestra Escuela Cuatro tendrá todos los estudiantes en segundo y tercer grados. Estamos felices de que ustedes se hayan unido a nuestra familia escolar. Estamos emocionados de confirmar que nuestra escuela estará abierta para recibir a nuestros estudiantes en los salones de clases el lunes 8 de septiembre- nuestro primer día escolar! En nuestra escuela continuaremos extendiendo el aprendizaje de nuestros estudiantes en todas las áreas académicas, con la instrucción y el apoyo de nuestro personal. Sabemos que todos los estudiantes tienen mejor aprovechamiento cuando hay una buena colaboración y relación entre estudiantes, padres y personal escolar. Anticipamos su apoyo y colaboración para que todos nuestros estudiantes tengan éxito.

Nuestro primer día escolar es el lunes, 8 de septiembre del 2025 y es un día completo en nuestra escuela (8:35am hasta 3:10pm) para todos los estudiantes. Me gustaría recordarles que nuestra red electrónica Escuela Cuatro de Lindenwold es un lugar donde pueden conseguir información escolar porque estamos tratando de mandar menos papeles. Pondremos las notificaciones escolares en la red para su acceso, como el Paquete del Primer Día, nuestro Manual Estudiantil/Libro de Conducta y otra información importante. La información siguiente está contenida en el Manual/Libro de Conducta, pero sirve como una referencia para ustedes. También, favor de notar, que durante el año escolar usted recibirá información importante a través del Salón Google de Maestros y otras aplicaciones como Remind, Class Dojo, ClassTag, etc. Por favor chequee sus cuentas diariamente.

Día Escolar Estudiantil

Horario Escolar Para Los Estudiantes de la Escuela Cuatro de Lindenwold - Grados 2 y 3:

Día Escolar (Regular): 8:35am – 3:10pm

Día de Despacho Temprano: 8:35am – 1:10pm

La asistencia puntual a la escuela es necesaria para la educación de su niña/o. Esperamos que los estudiantes estén listos para el aprendizaje a las 8:35am y permanezcan en la escuela hasta las 3:10pm.

Almuerzo/Recreo

Los estudiantes participarán en las actividades de almuerzo y recreo todos los días. En un esfuerzo por reducir la cantidad de estudiantes en la cafetería al mismo tiempo, solo la mitad de los estudiantes de un nivel de grado están asignados a comer en la cafetería en un momento dado. Esto significa que la mitad del grado estaría afuera durante el recreo mientras la mitad del grado estaría adentro para el almuerzo. Note que estudiantes participaran en recreo afuera a menos que el clima esté malo o la temperatura se sienta menos de 40 grados o más de 90 grados.

Llegada/Salida

Tenga en cuenta que los estudiantes ingresarán directamente al edificio a su llegada. Todos los estudiantes entrarán al edificio a través de las puertas de nivel de grado como se indica en el Mapa Escolar Aereo enlazado aquí y enviado en el paquete de bienvenida. Tenga en cuenta que si va a dejar a su hija/o, debe utilizar el carril para automóviles (acera azul) y permanecer dentro del vehículo mientras su hija/o sale del vehículo. Esta es una bajada rápida y se espera que los autos se muevan rápidamente. NO PODRÁ estacionarse en la acera azul por ninguna circunstancias.

Todos los caminantes serán despedidos desde el patio/escolar. Si se encontrará con su hija/o a la hora de la salida, asegúrese de estacionarse en el parqueo de vehículos. También debe tener en cuenta que nos adherimos a nuestra hora de salida (3:10pm) y los padres no pueden recoger a los estudiantes antes de la hora de salida, ya que interrumpe la instrucción de su hijo, su clase y su maestro. Si lleva a su hijo a una cita, asegúrese de proporcionar esta información al maestro/oficina principal en la mañana de la cita. No interrumpiremos clases durante la instrucción.
